It was no surprise to us that the site was mostly geared towards heterosexual relationships at its core, however we found it quite interesting that there were no options for gay men or lesbian women.

The signup process is quick and simple, it took us less than five minutes to register. Signing up doesn’t cost you anything and the site does not require any type of card information or charges for registering. Once you go onto the slapper dating login page you will need to click register and fill in a number of details:

Add your name

Tick to confirm you have read the T&C’s and that you’re over 18
Go to your emails and click the “verify your slapper dating account” email that they send you to complete your registration. (check your spam if you don’t receive it)

From there you can then click on “profile” at the top right of the page. From there you’ll be able to add a photo of yourself and fill in a number of basic personal details such as:

You can also create a short description about yourself in around 100-150 words so that others know what type of person you are and understand what you’re looking for.

If for any reason you want to remove your profile from the site after registering then you can go to “account” at the top right corner, then click on membership and there will be a “delete account” option.

It’s a great feature but keep in mind that applying too many filters might limit your choices quite a bit.

Although on the package upgrade page it’s stated that there’s “much more” to see, it's not actually clear what else the premium membership includes.

They provide three different subscription options:

Both the 3 month and 6 month packages are renewed automatically once they expire, so if you don’t want another one-off payment to come out, be sure to cancel your subscription before the next bill date.

If you go to your “Account” section in the top right corner of the main page, and choose “Bolt-ons” there are also two extra services you can add to your subscription.

Search VIP - £3.99 per month

This highlights your profile in search results so that you stand out ahead of the crowd.

Read notification - £3.99 per month

This sends you emails to let you know that your messages have been read.

Members can report profiles and place them on an “ignore list” so they no longer receive communication from that user

Safety & Security On Slapper Dating

Is Slapper Dating Legit?

After taking a look, overall it looks like a safe and legit dating site and has quite a large number of members available for you to reach out to. Other than the site's verification email, there doesn’t seem to be any further verification process for its users though.

Their help and support section mentions that they “screen” every first message, profile text and photo to ensure they keep the site free from scammers.

But the main concern here is if you do have any problems or issues you want to discuss with them, there doesn’t seem to be a slapper dating contact number. Both “contact us” and “support” at the bottom of each page seem to bring up the same “browse by topic” page. The page itself just covers some of the top questions and main subjects for you to choose. We didn’t find a contact number anywhere else on their site.

Conclusion

Overall slapperdating is a very simple and easy site to use. The registration is very quick and you don’t need to worry about sending any proof of ID like on some other dating sites. Members not having to verify themselves does seem to attract more fake accounts though so you may need to work your way through those before you can get to the genuine people.

They don’t seem to have an app but it's easy enough to access via your mobile browser without any issues, so if you’re looking for an old slapper date whilst working away, you shouldn’t have too many issues getting onto the site.

Although it seems quite reasonable, it's a little frustrating that their users cannot have any shorter-lived subscription packages just to test out the site first. It would be nice to have a 1 day or 1 week trial before committing to a long term subscription.
